80 Min – Jesse Lingard smashes a thunderous strike towards goal but Nenad Eric masterfully turns the ball onto his near post. The follow-up falls invitingly for Dalot but he loses his footing and scuffed his chance over the crossbar from close-range.

76 Min – Marcos Rojo unleashes a cannonball from improbable range and sends the ball whistling just beyond the far top corner.

67 Min – Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard come onto replace Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes.

61 Min – FC Astana surge into the United half. Marin Tomasov cuts inside against Rojo and lifts an auspicious cross to the back post, where Dorin Rotariu stabs wide from an acute angle.

59 Min – Fred takes over free-kick duties and curls a dangerous free-kick towards towards goal which Eric palms behind with another impressive stop.
